Intersnack Group acquires Whole Earth Foods

Highly successful peanut butter brand has joined the Intersnack portfolio.

Through KP Snacks in the UK, Intersnack has acquired Whole Earth Foods, a leading European supplier of organic and plant-based foods, from Ecotone Group.

The Whole Earth brand, which primarily sells peanut butter products, has expanded significantly since its acquisition by Ecotone in 2003. It has achieved strong sales growth and has risen to become the No. 1 peanut butter brand in the United Kingdom*. In addition, it has also established a good position for branded peanut butter in other European countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain and Italy.
