At Intersnack, we are continuously working to create positive impact - snack by snack. EcoVadis gives us an independent assessment of how well sustainability is embedded across our business and supply chain, whilst also benchmarking our performance against companies from a wide range of industries.
This year, Intersnack received an increased EcoVadis score for the fourth year, rising from 74 to 75 out of 100 - a total improvement of +15 points over the past four years, reflecting the commitment and effort of teams across our organisation.
It is important to note that - because EcoVadis uses a relative rating system where medal levels are determined by how all rated companies perform in a given year - our strong performance translates this year into a Silver rating.
With many companies globally raising their sustainability performance, achieving Silver whilst continuing to increase our score demonstrates solid progress in a highly competitive landscape.
We are also delighted to see that, across all four assessment areas, Intersnack scores higher than the average of all other companies in the food industry.
