Intersnack Group

climate targets

officially approved

We are proud to be part of the industry movement and the ambition to limit global warming to 1.5°C.

Real targets, real change, real impact

The global food supply chain is responsible for approximately 30% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, while being simultaneously threatened by climate change impacts. Businesses like ours need to step up, reduce our impact and make significant changes to lower our CO2e output.

How are we addressing this?

We want to create positive impact snack by snack. That’s why we have signed up to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) – a global coalition of 7,000+ organisations.

our carbon footprint - snack by snack

Intersnack has committed to the following targets (2032 versus 2021), which are in line with latest climate science:

We are also among the first companies in our industry with a dedicated ‘FLAG’ target which puts a special focus on emissions from Forest, Land and Agriculture. This means that our emissions reporting encompasses the entire supply chain and we will engage and work with our supply chain partners to make this happen.
